## Software Description

From the man pages: GeneTorrent is a suite of file transfer applications
designed for the optimal transfer of genomic data across computer
networks. You must apply for access to the data following the steps
[here](https://cghub.ucsc.edu/access/get_access.html) . MSI is not
involved in any way with granting access to the genomic data: direct all
enquiries to owners of the CGHub.
## General Linux

To load this module for use in a Linux environment, you can run the command:

	module load genetorrent

Depending on where you are working, there may be more than one version of genetorrent available.
To see which modules are available for loading you can run:

	module avail genetorrent
