## Software Description

MEGA is an integrated tool for conducting automatic and manual sequence
alignment, inferring phylogenetic trees, mining web-based databases,
estimating rates of molecular evolution, and testing evolutionary
hypotheses.

2. Connect to [https://apps.umn.edu](https://apps.umn.edu/vpn/index.html)
3. Click on Desktops \> MSI Sundry to launch the desktop
4. Launch MEGA from:
`Start > All Programs > MEGA-X > MEGA-X`
