## Software Description

Stata is an integrated statistical package that provides extensive
functionality for data analysis, data management, and graphics. To use
Stata you must be on the Stata user list. Contact MSI Help,
<help@msi.umn.edu> , to be added to the Stata user list. We have two
Stata-MP8 version 13 licenses.
## General Linux

To load this module for use in a Linux environment, you can run the command:

	module load stata

Depending on where you are working, there may be more than one version of stata available.
To see which modules are available for loading you can run:

	module avail stata
